I would like to introduce you to Darlene Dickson, the CEO of www.ManifoldGracePublishingHouse.com. Manifold Grace Publishing house is a publishing company that help writers share their testimony. I am getting a head of myself.
1.)Darlene, tell us a little about yourself? I worked for 36 years at AT&T, started as an operator, then service rep, training instructor, process developer/negotiator, with 2 children who graduated from U of M.
2.) Why did you decide to begin a publishing website? It's important to let people know you're out there and a website is one of the best ways these days to effectively communicate - give information
3.) What do you hope Manifold Grace publishing House will help others achieve? I have been inspired by God to "help people share their testimonies with the world" so my desire is to do just that; on both the creative side and the business side of book publishing
4.) What services do you offer? we are a full service publisher and can take our clients from concept to the bookshelves but the role i enjoy most is as a 'book-whisperer'. i get involved w/my authors and actually get in line with their vision for their project and I'm able to help them reach it whether it's in technical issues around formatting or editing or ...whatever!
5.) What advice would you give to aspiring authors and publishers? this is an easy one 1) get started! 2) become the expert on your subject and 3) be diligent about it. one of the things we offer at MGPH is a workshop entitled So You Want To Write A Book Huh? that helps authors at all levels be successful
