Below are the steps I took to get to the final picture you see. Art work done in Illustrator

Picture
1.) Started off the gamer Illustration with a quick hand drawing just to understand how I was going to tackle this project.

2.) Blocked in some color right away.

3.) Put in the shoes, socks, controller, and began shading... I began to realize that Im not fast at this by any stretch of the imagination.

I find myself gazing at the screen figuring out what section i want to tackle next.

In addition, its super late by the time I start working.

4.) I work on shading on the game console, video games, and monitor.

5.) Began defining the face a little bit better. Put in some shoe laces. Worked on the shoes lighting and monitors shading/ drop shadows.

6.) Worked on detailing the games a touch.

Although there are some sections within the image I would like to work on further, overall, I am pretty satisfied. Time to move on to the next project.
