Within Feedburner their is an option to set up an email subscription to your blog for free. Feedburner is owned by google and is set up to retransmit your blog by email and rss feed. The only requirement...is to have a gmail account.

Step 1
Go to feedburner.com and sign in to your gmail account.
Step 2
Copy your blog address in to the open field "burn a feed right this instant" then hit next
Step 3
Give your feed a title mines is called "Creative Graphic Art blog"
Step 4
Hit next 2 more times.
Step 5
Click on the "Publicize Tab"
Step 6
Click on the email subscription link on the left hand side.
Step 7
Click Activate
Step 8
You have two options. One is to add the form and the second one is to add the email link. Copy the code and paste it into your website.
